Currently, my family and I are in Montauk,NY for a full week. We have a condo out on the east end but its rare that my entire family is out there at the same time so this usually is a fun trip. Today, myself, my younger brother and dad played Montauk Downs Golf Club...we usually are all pretty close in score but my dad ran away with this round. We enjoyed a nice seafood lunch at the club after, which included; crabs, lobster, clams..etc. After brunch we met up with my mom and my two sisters at the Ditch Plains(our favorite beach in Montauk). After a few beach activities and relaxing my uncle and cousins picked us up at Montauk Yacht Club where we took a boat ride on his new 64 ft VIKING. I am currently getting ready to go out to dinner at the Yacht Club.. Tomorrow should be another exciting day, I'll keep you all posted.
Sounds great. I live on LI too and Montauk is always a nice vacation but not too far away. And, I hear the Yacht club is awesome.

ReplyDeleteJust got back from my cousin's wedding out in Montauk. Didn't know or realize it was all the way out in Long Island east of East Hampton. My family and I were there for three days. On Sunday I was able to sneak out to play a round of golf at Montauk Downs, a famous championship course designed by Robert Trent Jones. The course seemed pretty challenging and similar to your round my 'old man' edged me out to win the match. Montauk makes up for what the rest of LI lacks, beauty and class.
